His warm vocals sit right up and centre in the mix, like he’s performing for you in your own head - a production decision that keeps your attention until you’re so engrossed in the song, that it’s too quickly over and you must immediately re-listen just to check it really happened. Kai has treated us all with his vulnerability, both in his devastating lyrics and melancholy vibrato. The final track on his EP ‘Love, Throw Me A Bone’, it works as a stunning book-end to a subtle, but glorious pocket of songs.
